Gutter cover types

We offer a variety of gutter cover solutions to meet your specific needs and budget. Here's a breakdown of the different types we install, along with their pros and cons:

Screen covers

Inexpensive and easy to install, these covers are effective for leaves and larger debris. However, small debris can still enter, and plastic versions can warp or crack.

Foam inserts

A low-cost, simple DIY option that blocks large debris while letting water pass. However, they can trap seeds, degrade over time, and require removal for full cleaning.

Brush inserts

Very easy to install and keep out large leaves. However, debris often sticks to the bristles, requiring frequent cleaning, and they're not ideal for heavy leaf areas.

Reverse-curve (surface-tension) guards

Very effective at shedding leaves with low long-term maintenance and high water-flow capacity. They are more expensive, visible from the ground, and smaller debris can cling to the lip.

Micro-mesh covers

Offer the best filtration, working for pine needles, seeds, and small debris. Durable when made from stainless steel, but they have a higher price and must be installed correctly to avoid overflow. Occasional surface cleaning is needed.

Solid covers / hoods (non–reverse-curve)

Block nearly all debris and are long-lasting. However, water can overshoot in heavy rain if not pitched correctly, and they cost more than basic screens.
